Larry R. Bame

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Tibbitts-Griffin Highland Chapel for Larry R. Bame, 32, of 2120 E. 13th, who died Saturday in a motorcycle accident north of Overbrook.  He was born March 18, 1950, at Topeka, the son of Joseph E. and Betty E. Grey Bame. 

He lived in Topeka all his life and was graduated with honors from Highland Park High School in 1968. Larry served in the United States Navy from 1969 to 1973.

He was employed as an electronics technician for Solid State Sonics and Electronics at Topeka.  Mr. Bame was a member of an amateur radio club at Topeka.

Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph E. Bame Sr., Topeka; two brothers, Joe Bame Jr., and Steven Bame, both of Topeka; and a sister, Mrs. Debra Hunt, Topeka.

Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.  Mr. Bame will lie in state after 10 a.m. today at Tibbitts-Griffin Highland Chapel.
